Does CX require new hire FO's to sign a training contract and if so what are the terms?

No, theres no contract either financially nor any sort or time related bond for DESOs & DEFOs.
You can quit the day after you get your 744 rating....no questions asked.
*There is a technically a 3 year bond for Cadets (although a few have tested the system and left without any trouble and strife from the company after discovering they didnt really like flying after all)
