WHICH IR TRAINING PROVIDER

Any advice on which IR provider to use for training? Several colleagues have used cheaper overseas providers (Spain) and cannot get anyone to look at CV. Never flew under screen or hood, everyone passed first attempt. Seems to indicate to me that is worth paying extra money for training in UK. By time one converts appears to be liitle saving. Also, seems everyone in UK offers a multi-IR course. Input very welcome.

Try Bristol flying centre.Heard all good things plus i'm starting there on 13th March!!

Your choice depends on where you live i guess, unless you want to get away from home!
There are a coupl of good places down in Bournemouth also.

I strongly recommend you take a look at Airways Flight Training (http://www.airwaysflighttraining.co.uk/), Exeter.
They also have a lot of first time passes - because they train pilots well. :ok:

BCFT (http://www.bournemouthcommercialflighttraining.co.uk/) at Bournemouth, I found them to be first class. awesome instructors, most are ex or current airline pilots, even some business jet ones as well. Also the CAA have one of their Exam centres there so you can get familiar with the area. I got a First Time pass and they have very good standards.

If that were the old SFT: then t'were very good in the days when CAA Flight Examiners took themselves very seriously, which of course, they still may do.;)
