Guys, heres hoping you can help...
I installed a CAD program the other day but needed to reinstall it.
I'd originally installed it on my my ext hard drive and when it came to removal I did it via the Add/Remove Programs function.
Once it was removed I went to the directory I had put it in and deleted the remaining files within the folder.
I've now come to run the installer again and when it starts it says it has picked up a previous version of Solid Edge (the program) and I need to remove it via the Add/Remove Programs window. The installer then stops and closes.
Obviously the program doesn't appear in the A/R P window as i've already removed it, and i'm just wondering why it may still be showing up?
Is there anywhere that left over files are likely to be found and picked up by the installer?
Any help much appreciated..... as usual...
