If you have the 26-27 May free, head to the Czech Republic for the Annual HEMS show at Hradec Kralove. It is a relaxed 2 days of flying and static displays, as well as a chance for a get together (Saturday nights hanger party is quite good...)

Have a look here: http://www.alfahelicopter.cz
Are you familiar with Zlin - or a little place called Jassena?

i4iq, I know Zlin, but have never heard of Jassena. It sounds like a Polish name?
BigMike
Yeah, Jassena is pretty small. I have family there. My grandfather was a Czech freedom fighter during WWII. Zlin is the closest large town. Jassena isn't far from a famous Slivovice producing village - can't remember the name - probably due to the mandatory Slivovice at every village member's home I visited!
I was over there a couple of years back just before Christmas. Stayed in Prague, very near the old town square.
Nice country to live in - Real Estate is cheap too!

Hi i4iq, your spelling threw me. It is spelt Jasenna. Czech dosnt use 2 S
The Slivovice producing town is Vizovice, quite famous :-)
For those that dont know, Slivovice is a clear strong drink of between 50-60 percent, made by many people at home. English translation is Plum Brandy.
Great cure for many things...
Big Mike
You're right - I keep doing that - I should know better by now!
I was introduced to about 17 types of Slivovice on one family meeting, in several houses throughout Jasenna - they all seem to brew their own - and they are very hospitable!
The amazing thing about Slivovice is that it even cures a hangover before it starts!!
