Since I'm attending an interview and assessment day for pilot training and not as a qualified first officer job, I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on how? and what? to include in a good CV, and is the record of acheivement (if ur familiar with it) similair or just a visual presentation of a CV? muy-buien

A record of achievement is the file with which your school should provide you when you leave, containing all your certificates from GCSEs and A-Levels.

A CV is separate.

i think sometimes we should think more like if we were the company owner or assessor...i mean for a guy who is supposed to be flying an airplane from A to B safely and commercially is it really so important to have a degree in social science 4 example?...wouldnt it be much better for him to be those 4 years younger or with 4 more yrs of aviation experience??The personality ,the motivation and the attitude of the pilot are maybe the most important thing and they cant be made better or worsened by a degree...
Now having said that of course the more u have the better!...so if someone already holds a degree its going to be nothing but positive...just its not worth to do it just to get more chance in getting a job i think
