:OHey guys...are there flying schools/aeroclubs like JAS in terms of quality training & price:rolleyes:..the JAS quote works out to 40K from ab-initio to CPL with MECIR & NVFR...the best price I have come across & have heard only good things about JAS...really appreciate it:) if ya all could recommend some schools like JAS

JAS has a good reputation for high standards of training and not ripping people off as much as other places. Especially in the MECIR where the baron time can be quite usefull.
The prices at JAS are reasonable without being cheap, however you get what you pay for. The prices you quoted sound reasonable enough to me for JAS training . The student house is also a who's who of Darwin, Broome and Eastern state GA drivers looking to get or renew IR's. All in all, a great place to fly and develop ones career, and although I did my MECIR there I assure you that I am an inderpendent and unbiased observer.
