 Hi all... I hope this is the right place for me to post this thread. How to I get myself equipped with the essential knowledge to be a pilot? I want to write in to be trainee pilot at SIA (Singapore Airlines). But I don't think I have the neccessary qualifications to be selected. Please enlighten me.

I'm not exactly sure what information you're looking for. In what way do you mean?

didn't know that SIA where running a sponsorship scheme. if you mean that you want to work for SIA as a pilot, then follow this simple guide.
1) you need to train yourself to be a commercial pilot first.
2) then you need to build up about 3-4000 hours experience (takes about 5/6 or so years).
3) apply and hope that they then might consider hiring you as a first officer.

simple really :uhoh:
