Hello all,

Just a quick question about QR.

What sort of working conditons, pay package, hour requirements...bla bla bla..

any replies would be much appreciated

pay package is not anymore on the QR web site...It used to be there for a while than they took it out...:confused:

oups too fast...for the package and requirement you have to apply first and click on the job tittle.(they moved a little bit the information)

CL....here's an excerpt from their site:

First Officers (A300-600, A320 & A330) (Ref: FO/CYP/0063/06)
Requirements
· Total minimum hours 1000 (airline time) 500 hours shall be on type.
· Valid ICAO ATPL or frozen ICAO ATPL.
· Below 45 years of age for type rated applicants.

Type Rating Conversions
Pilots without a rating on the aircraft types we fly must have the following minimum experience.
For First Officers, 2000 hours (airline time) with 1000 hours time on EFIS equipped medium/ heavy jets.

Such pilots will be given type-rating conversion on the A300, A320 or the A330. Only pilots with suitable experience at or above minimum required experience will be considered for the A330 conversion. All pilots given type ratings will be required to sign service bond with the Company.

For type rating conversions, candidate should be below 40 years for First Officers.

These positions carry all inclusive average monthly remuneration packages of approximately US$ 7,950 (equivalent QAR 29,000) for married First Officers and approximately US$ 7,650 (equivalent QAR 28,000) for single status First Officers inclusive of housing allowance. Other benefits include meal allowances, school fee subsidy for children and Loss of License/Medical/Group Life Insurances. All remuneration is TAX FREE.
