Hello to everyone,

Does anyone know of an Indonesian operator who might be looking for a 737-400/700/800 pilot ? Please pm me details. I have a type rating on it.

Just serious answers only

Thanks

For 737-400 there are some.. but 737NG there's none even though Lion Air is planning to have it. For 737-400 Adam Air was actually recruiting a lot of expats...But the most importantly, as far as I know, Indonesian goverment is restricting expat pilots working in indonesia since last December...

Airjae, would you know what the requirements are ? Will they take on someone who only has an endorsement on the 734 ?

Thanks

First thing first, I don't think it is possible to get a job in Indonesia because
of the expat restriction which started last December.

Under the circumstances that it is somehow possible, license conversion will
be the first thing you need to do as soon as you arrive in Indonesia.

What I found out from my last visit is....It is matter of money
ratther than your flight experience....you know what I mean... If you are planning
to go to Indonesia...watch out!!! When they see foreigner, they smell money...

Airjae, I take it that's a YES ?

Any suggestions then where I can find a 734 operator hiring without these restrictions on expats?

Thanks
