Just over a week ago Seneca 1 VH-MEP operated for many years by the Tony Kingham Flying School was sold. It had been used for CPL and IFR training plus the odd charter here and there and I was wondering how many Ppruners had done their CPL and/or initial IFR ratings or renewals in it. There would be quite a few stories to be told!
I heard from TK that a Qantas Captain had purchased it and TK's comment was
"He'll have to learn to fly now!!":E
The other aircraft in the school fleet was a Seminole which was sold almost immediately after the TKFS closed.

I did my initial CIR in MEP, and also the occasional run up to YOLD to pick up some loot.

A great CIR platform, coz your scan had to be happening. Only aeroplane I flew balanced with wings level, and alierons about 5 degrees to the right.

.. and Pinky, you say that TK is still around!!!! I thought the tax office would have got him (or CK) by now... and where's my super money ........???
