Just heard that SAA has pulled out of ATCL. THis puts them in a bind as they didnt have enough planes to do all the routes. Then heard that emirates will be investing in them!! Any of this true? News takes a while to filter up here, and ATCL was the only 'reliable way' of getting out!!!!

Ok this is the rumour of all rumours. Heard that Emirates have offered +/-R25 million for Nationwides' route structure. VB can keep his aircraft and Emirates will come in with new Airbus equipment...........anyone know anything?

jambo brat...

this emirates rumour is the latest buzz at atcl...but here is some nyama choma to stick your teeth in...

..after the merger is "over" the government plans to inject some capital and buy a decent long haul machine..as currently we own only one b737 which is lying in jhb awaiting cash flow..the general plan will be to make this company stand on its own feet b4 looking for future mergers...

keep it up there fellows,
