Should we make this the official how many have left thread?
Jan 06: 7 total 3 CAs 4 FOs (Check RG on the 10th and the 31st as they have different names)
Feb 06: 4 total 1 CA 3 FOs (Check RG on the 3rd and 4th FEB)
Mar 06: 5 total 3 CAs and 2 Fos.
This seems to be about the average from last year as well.

would anyone like to say what the experience level is for those that have left or are leavin.
are the leavin pilots those with 3+ years of experience and probably from the bus and if so why are ek not recruiting onto the 330 to replace them.

"Natural attrition",with 25 applications a day this will be no problem.
Perhaps all the pilots from the USA majors coming to save us,should be aware of how many pilots leave due "homesickness" and "family reasons" in the last 18 months.

Sad truth is there are alot of pilots from the "USA majors" looking elsewhere. The market for DEC is saturated with them, some already hired more to get in the system.
There was a huge hiring surge in the mid 80's in the US. Alot of these pilots have hit, or are approaching 50. (early retirement age). They are taking their lump sum pensions, before they disappear, and looking elsewhere. If NWA doesn't reslove it's problems, and American Airlines has a few more bad finacial reports, look for another influx of well qualified pilots. Delta has shed most of their 50 somethings.
If they stay for a short period or fill out their contract, they will still try and most probably are looking short term anyways.

I don,t know if the figures mentioned include the B777 Training Captain that resignedon Monday 20th. He is one of the great guys in training and will be very difficult to replace.
