Hello guys and gals,

Anybody out there have any info on Lufttransport?

I know what I have read on their webpage, cannot find much recent info on here .
Any help would be appreciated.

Im thinking:
Schedules?
Pay for an F/O on the kingair?
Are they gonna hire in 06?
Pilots happy?
You have to live where you are based?
Where are you most likely to be based?
How many hrs a year?
Do they get flightbenefits with the airlines? SAS/WF?
How many years to upgrade typically?

Anybody? Anything?

thnx

All information from a good friend of mine....

Schedules?
12 days on / 9 days off. (with some small variations of this at Brønnøysund and Alta)

Pay for an F/O on the kingair?
F/O pay closely matches WF the first few ears. Low top-end pay for FC's. All per diem at LT is subject to income tax, and compensation for overtime / extra work is much below industry standardard.

Are they gonna hire in 06?
Definately. Looks like they'll be hiring quite a few.

Pilots happy?
They have been historically, but growing conflicts with the management seems to be causing much frustration. A lot are leaving for other operators these days, which has not previously been the case.

You have to live where you are based?
No, but it certainly makes life easier.

Where are you most likely to be based?
Kirkenes or Alta. Both have on-base living facilities for commuting pilots.

How many hrs a year?
400-500, but steadily rising. Keep in mind that hours flown is not a good measure of amount of work done due to the amount of short hops and the amount of hours spend sitting "ready to go."

Do they get flightbenefits with the airlines? SAS/WF?
No

How many years to upgrade typically?
4-5
