I hope this hasn't been ask before, my apologies if it has.
I feel for some sort of change/challenge/additional experience and I'm seriously thinking about getting my CPL/IR and getting into bizz flying.
Currently, I (35) hold a JAA-CPLH with FI(H) and have a total of @ 2.500 hours (all on helicopters except some Chipmunk time).
Does it make any sense at all to change from helicopter to fixed wing? At my "age"?
I understand that I have to do some sort of a "bridge course". What would be the amount of flight hours and/or ground school I have to expect (FCL states the contents of the trainng programm but nothing about the amount of time to be spent on it)?
Any input welcome.
