Madrid New Terminal

Recently passed through the new Terminal at Madrid.

Signposting is a nightmare, no-one seems to know where to guide you to, the lifts only seem to work when you're not in them and to connect to another flight it seems you have to go all the way out and all the way back in again, which takes about 30 minutes, if you hurry.

Anyone else suffered any problems here?? :*

I also have reason to believe that there are thousands of bags building up under the terminal as the luggage delivery system is having some major teething problems!

Just completed a Lim - Mad - Agp on IB

No huge problems even though the connection was from T4 SAT to T4 - a bit of walking but i thought the signs were fine

My bags arrived in AGP in spite of the shortish connection Ih45

Im living in madrid at the moment , originally from manchester. A great place to live , and great nightlife, but the spanish do things in a arse uppards way!. Anybody passing through welcome to contact me and i can direct you to the best places to go. Some good places to fly here to.

El Pais are saying that it is a car bomb in the parking for Terminal 4. Three police officers wounded. There was a warning phone call prior to the explosion.

A car bomb gone off at about 0900AM in the new T4 parking. Two policemen were slightly injured but no fatalities have been reported. The car bomb was a maroon Renault Traffic.

Explosion was controlled by Spanish police after call fm the terrorists to the Emegency Services
Pax on terminal were evacuated to the ramp
Air traffic suspended till further advised .-
