Night Blackhawk Ops.

OK, call me a spotter even if I only fly VFR.

As I write this I'm listening to three or four Blackhawks "practicing" at night for the Commonwealth games next month about four minutes walk from here. I have never seen helicoper ops at night before. Absolutely bloody awesome!

Can't be that awesome if you can still see them, night flying should be in the dark!! it is the sport of kings though! enjoy :ok:

It's awesome when they appear out of the dark 50 feet overhead and into the hover! You wouldn't believe the security and counter terror stuff that is going on in Melbourne in preparation for the games.
