Saw an Interlink 73 going in to Smuts/jhb int/O.R. Tambo last week. This boy has better feet than Fred Astair, the way he dances his way out of trouble. Does anyone know the status/outcome of his fraud case/s, or is he dancing his way to an Emmy/Oscar?

Moer Rat was arrested in early 2005, is out on bail and is scheduled to appear in the Wynberg Regional Court, Cape Town, 20-24 March 2006 on some 31 charges of fraud and corruption arising from his dealings with the Navy.
His accomplice in the Navy a Leon Burwise has already been convicted and is now appearing as a witness for the state:\
The Scorpions who conducted this investigation and is leading the prosecution are obvioulsy confident of securing a conviction, particularly as he is appearing before the same magistrate who found Burwise guilty.:E
Moer Rat's dancing shoes are likely to make way for some state issue bracelets and anklets come the end of March.:E
It is somewhat amazing that he continues to lease in aircraft like the B73 ZS-SIN from SAFAIR which you saw while faced with these charges, not to mention his debacle with the SAPS sports teams going to Canada, a reported revolt by some of his directors in Interlink, having been found out and reported to the CAA for overflying flight and duty limits more than on 13 occassions in a 4 month period (some flights 18hrs in 1 day!), etc.:\
