do you know what are the Inland revenue rules with regard to working in the UK and live abroad in order to pay Minimum taxes??
what kind of proof does the Inland revenue require you to provide ??
would you have to pay some other taxes in the country where you live??(outside the uk)

thanks,

you have to keep track of your days in the UK (max 90 excluding travel days)and your flying time/duty time ,(UK/no UK).
If you have a house in the UK it becomes a bit more difficult!
Use a good tax accountant who knows the aviation industry! (fry accountants are good but also expensive)
it depends on the country you want to live in if you have to pay tax there ,use good tax advisors to prevent problems in the long run!

.
Amend that to impossibly expensive. They fat-cat it with a vengeance. I had cause to ask for a quote from them for doing some work. I was well beyond gobsmacked by what I got back from them. Arrogated profiteers is a profoundly undershooting description for Wilfred Fry.

Shadow agrees they are expensive. Rest deleted to keep 'order':)

Don't just assume moving out of the UK will reduce your tax burden, you need to look at both ends of this "plan". If you can show the UK IR that you are non-resident (90 days rule, etc as others as mentioned ) then you will be able to reduce your exposure to UK taxes. However you then need to consider taxation in the country of your abode. Some countries have favourable tax regimes for workers such as long haul aircrew, others may well clobber you for tax as if you are resident........so there may be no net gain - you need to do your research carefully - don't know about Holland.

As for Frys - BALPA have stopped recommending them.
