Anyone know what Aircraft they will be replacing their Jetstreams with?

The route started with a Cirrus Airlines Dornier 328, judging by the fact it is in full Eastern colours i expect it to be around for a while.

Well if they actually operated the aircraft it would be good!

As far as I'm aware it didnt come in Monday morning (up until 1400)

I guess having their fair share of a/c probs already

Flew on it last Thurs in and out on first and last, both pretty much on time, usual great Eastern service etc, and am on there again tomorrow, this new route is a godsend! Load was pretty low on the 328 on both flights last week (I guess 15-20ish each way roughly), but it was only the first few days of the route... for less money than a standard class open return rail ticket to london (199 on eastern vs 211 on GNER), i think the route will do well...

cheers G.

That seems to be quite encouraging. Looking at the seating plan the a/c seems to hold 30/31 pax so over 50% load factor is good at this early stage.

An Air Atlantique ATR42 has covered a few of the planned Do328 EGNT-EGLC sectors over the last few days, is the Dornier broken already?

Understand the Do328 had a problem with the steering upon a landing at LCY on the 2nd day of ops. As said, ATR42 and another Do328 from Cirrus have been used so far.

There was about 15 on yesterday morning when i flew down, different a/c as GrahamK says, another Cirrus 328.

they've recently cherry-picked a couple of old-Trans States J41 from the US, the American Airlines partner
