Salary for a Licenced Engineer $ 3200 basic plus another $1000 in approvals etc depending on how many types you have and $1500 expat allowance

Housing allowance 1800 per month paid directly to landlord, for that you get a large comfortable house 5 beds 3 bathrooms etc.

Education allowance is paid but it goes nowhere near to covering all costs for the local International Schools.

1 free ticket for you and family back to where you came from each year.
1 FOC ticket anywhere on the network each year.
Any number of ID90s.

Over the years all the other allowances have gradually been removed (medical/transport) as cost a saving exercise.

Cannot comment on pilots basic others the same.

The working atmosphere is not good with staff welfare not high on the list of priorities, even less so for expatriates who are rapidly being removed and their positions localised.

I have bitten my tongue and tried to be as fair as possible
