With an FAA ATP(H) and CASA ATPL(H) what would be the steps to obtain a JAR ATPL(H)? Fortunately no restrictions regarding passports/citizenship. Not having to sit exams any more seems a bit weird so if there are any more exam out there to do why not?:ok:

paddymelon, what exams did you need to take to get your down under ATP?
Did you have your FAA ATP first?

Received FAA ATP first, conversion to CASA ATP involved sitting CPL Air Law and ATP Air Law exams. Then IREX, as CASA does not recognize FAA IFR ratings, although instrument rating is not required by CASA to achieve ATP unlike the FAA ATP which does require instrument ticket. The IREX exam is very interesting!! All FAA aircraft endorsements are recognised by CASA. Anyone done the FAA to JAA conversion outside the UK?
