Hi folks
I bought a PrimeFilm scanner a few years back so that I could one day scan all my old 35mm negs and my dear old dad's many slides from Africa days.
The day is shortly arriving but the software/driver is for Windows 98 and I have XP - any idea where I can get the required driver ?
Thanks for any help offered.

Not familiar with this device but if it's USB connected (I imagine so) you can download the XP driver here ;

http://www.jessops.com/downloads/index.cfm?page=Scanners

It lists the same driver for Win98SE and XP but it may ask for a choice when installed.

Kotakota,

I believe your scanner is made by Pacific Image Electronics.

You can download the latest drivers for all their PrimeFilm scanners directly from their web site : Pacific Image Electronics (http://www.scanace.com/en/download.php)

There are 12 different models of PrimeFilm scanner listed :

PrimeFilm 1800 u/i
PrimeFilm 2700
PrimeFilm 3600u
PrimeFilm 3650u
PrimeFilm 7250u
PrimeFilm 1800AFL
PrimeFilm 3610AFL
PrimeFilm 3600PRO
PrimeFilm 3650PRO3
PrimeFilm 7250PRO3
PrimeFilm 1800LAB, and
PrimeFilm 3650LAB

There are XP ( and Win 98 etc ) drivers for all of the above plus some Firmware upgrades depending on which model you have.

:ok:
