Hello and Good Evening,

my name is Bret, I go by the alias Signature due to doing some flight training within a company called Signature Aviation located KPSP.

I do apologize if this question has been posted or asked a million times :ok:

But im 20, I live in the UK
I have 11 GCSE'S

and I want to be a ATP ( Airline Transport Pilot )

working on my PPL now,

I've been to the United States and have done a bit of research on whats needs to be done to be employed

the route i was going to take was this :

spend $50,000 gain licences be an instructor gain 1500 hours, apply for 1st officer position for skywest or an american regional company

however plans changed, I couldn't get a loan in US. I couldn't work out there, and basically I had to come back to the UK.

I need a big loan or airliner company that will sponsor me, Ie.

train me to fly their plans then I pay them back by working for them at a reduced rate.

or something along these lines, you guys got the answers im looking for??

Much appreciated.
Once again apologies if this has been asked again and again.

Hello Signature, yes been asked many many times. So to make it easy, I'll point you in the direction of the search button, top right hand corner of the page. Click on that and put in certain phrases for flight training. Best way to cut down the responces, is to go to the advanced search and limit responces to "Wannabes Forums" where all training scenario's are discussed. You find all the info in there from how to obtain what type of licence your after, what schools are good and financial details.

If there's anything you can't find then repost (preferably in "professional pilot training") explaining that you have used the search function, and you will be sure to get some responce to your new query.

Best of luck,

S.C. :ok:

Loads of info in a search but just out of curiosity why would it have cost $50,000 to gain your FAA licenses? PPL $3500 IR $3000 Hours $8500 CPL $1500 MEIR $2500 CFI $2000 I reackon it would end up costing about $25-30000 to get an FAA CFI and multi. Dont do what so many have done before you and think that more money means more chance of a job as it does not. I have an FAA ATP and I did not have the right to work in the US but managed to get married to a cool girl I lived with whilst working in the states as a jump pilot. There are so many options out there and the most idiotic has to be spending huge amounts of money on a career that has more people than jobs.

Read this thread (http://www.pprune.org/forums/showthread.php?t=207270). And this one (http://www.pprune.org/forums/showthread.php?t=181083&highlight=HSBC). And, before you get too carried away, have a look at this one (http://www.pprune.org/forums/showthread.php?t=204624&highlight=HSBC).

Perhaps it might be an idea to look at this thread (http://www.pprune.org/forums/showthread.php?t=131649) too.
