Last year they appointed their first woman Captain and now this:

PIA operated an all women crew flight for the first time in the country's history on Wednesday, the Fokker carrying 42 passengers flew from Islamabad to Lahore.

Flight PK623 took off at 2:00 pm from the Islamabad airport and landed at Allama Iqbal International Airport (AIIA) at 3:00 pm. Ayesha Rabia Naveed was the Captain of the Fokker flight while Sadia was the First Officer with two female cabin crew.

PIA Station Manager Aqil bin Sharif and other personnel received the flight at AIIA. Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) President Mohsin Syed commenting on the historical flight said that the women were making their mark in every sphere of life. "The female and male pilots are imparted similar training," he said, adding that the women were equally capable of flying all aircraft including the 747", adding that it was a milestone achieved by PIA.
