Hello everyone;

I wanted to join emirates for a long time.. I have my app online but never heard from them. I read a lot about the fact that the y are short on pilots , so I wonder if my resume (CV) is competetive ....

Any feed backs will be greatly appreciated.

Capt CRJ700 w/ 4500hrs+. TT, 1800hrs+. total PIC, 2500+ hrsJet, 800+ PIC jet & 1600 F/O jet, 400hrs. F/O Turbo prop

Keep Updating your CV and ensure you have completed the online form. I understand they are a bit sticky about incomplete forms.

Sadly, you barely meet their minimum requirements and are not competitive against a lot of the other applicants. It might not be right; but you will not be called until they have run out of more experienced guys (on paper). They have lots of high time guys applying of whom not all pass the interview and then not all accept the job. That is why they are short.

I would disagree, if you want to work for EK, I would think you could expect a response within six months. Things are desperate here and they need lots of people.

On the EK online-application, it asks for 3 referees - two of which should be from present-managament pilots you've flown with. I have spent the better part of 20 years at my company trying to avoid having management know who I am. I have flown as Captain for almost the last 11 years, so everyone I fly with is an FO who is not management.

Any suggestions on how to fill out this part of the EK application?

i would have thought that you do have 6 monthly checks and they are not done by Fo's i believe so ask a line trainer is my answer.

on a different note where is the balance ball indication on the old airbus cockpit.

What i know is that they r looking for pilots and if i understand well there r many to leave EK emirates , so those working there r not to happy...
