A fixed wing operator was threatened with violence by an airport employee in front of customers, after he had become irritated by the very long delay in receiving fuel and the way he was dealt with. This was covered up from the owners Peel Holdings by the local management. The airport employee in question is ‘going out’ with the airport’s Business Manager.
I have been flying my aeroplane into Sheffield City Airport for a number of years and the service, aggressive unprofessional attitude is without question the worst I have very come across. The local management just say and do whatever they like and the crazy thing about it is, Peel Holdings are the ones who get the ‘bad name’.
Come on Peel Holdings wake up!!
