Flying in Qatar

Hi all, I am about to start a job flying for the Qatar Emiri Air Force (Sea King Commando) and wondered if any one else has any tips for settling in to Qatar - or the Middle East in general :}
PS. I understand they interviewed a few of us so will anybody else be going with me?
