I was just looking at some of the posts from our FW cousins on "Terms and Endearment" about hours and pay for various organisations. It seems not many rotorheads surf that forum, so I thought it would be an interesting question here.. .So, what sort of roster do you work and what sort of bucks do you make? . .Or has this all been done before?. .. .Me, Aussie military driver, about 50+hours a week, 5 on 2 off (when thngs are good),3-400 flying hours per year for about $Aus65000.. .. .So, now I've shown you mine...

Thomas, a wild guess of $AUS65K would be around20K sterling. You seem to be on a far better wicket, but I guess I've got the sunshine.

Ask some of the crews around Aberdeen, but look out for their wheelbarrows around the end of the month, you might get run over in the rush. Training captains have chrome-plated barrows and their FO's are the ones that make them gleam.

Seven 12 hour shifts, 3 days followed by by 4 nights, flipped quarterly;. .$41k US (low average for the area);. .About 240 hours annual-not nearly enough except when it's too much-feast or famine in EMS.
