The photograph shows a Boeing Vertol 107 towing a barge at Prudoe Bay, Alaska. Nose down attitude reached up to 35 degrees but looks much greater. The event took place in 1982 and demonstrated that a 220 ton barge loaded with drilling equipment could be towed over ice, snow and water.
