Has anyone ever been involved in or have any knowledge of what is involved in a 2000Hr rebuild of an R22?

In particular I am interested to know if there is any requirement for the Governor to be replaced as a timed life component during the rebuild. I was under the impression that it was an "on condition" component, but have recently been advised diferently, and with an impending rebuild due ....?

Any further info or comments would be most gratefully received.

Hi stoppa,

Yes, I have been involved in a 2000hr and 10 year re-builds (Now 2200 or 12 years).

There is no requirement to do anything with the govornor at all!!!

All very interesting.

Hope to hear from you
