Hi just heard that the Chief Pilot in Nas (jeddah base) was sacked!!!! They are doing well over there ....believe it to be roughly a captain every two weeks. So anyone know the ins and outs. It only took him about 6 months to be recognised in that position by PCA then a month later he is gone !!!

Sorry - it was the CP of NJME I was referring to.

Yeh - heard that the other day too - but not to worry - am sure that NJME will continue to raise the standards with the DEC's that they will undoubtedly employ. Not sure but thought that a CP would have been an integral requirement for FAA part 135 ops.....Sorry, forgot 135 is just a figment of the imagination in that part of the world. Is it just heresay that just prior to the demise of the CP that the DO was uncontactable and the CP was seen kicking back in London instead of being in the office. Maybe that had something to do with it - does PCA really enforce any regs??
