I stumbled across the website of the above training provider and what caught my eye was, as far as I could figure it out, a multi engine instrument rating in the region of €11,000.

Does anyone know whether a Swedish IR is accepted by the CAA for a UK CPL? Just as important, does anyone have any first hand experience of this place and can give me further information about the quality of instruction and aircraft, and maybe even hints about accommodation in the area?

Any information will be much appreciated.

I was there about a year ago. Took my CPL and then my Multi IR with them. It's quite a small school, more like a club but I enjoyed it very much. Very proffessional attitude. You live at the school for 100 swedish crowns per night. There's a kitchen there for you to use if you like.
The Hangar is next door so you can sit in the a/c all night if you have to. I flew two times per day with the same instructor. Even weekends, only limiting factor was the weather.. I flew my CPL in an Arrow and the Multi on a Seneca 2.

I'm a native but just before I got there they had some brittish student.

I can nothing but recommend them :ok:!

The IR is an add-on to a JAA CPL. You can do it in any JAA state and have it put on your licence by the state that you did your CPL with.
