Hi,

I've just booked flights with Virgin Atlantic travelling London/Heathrow to Miami in late June and returning from Miami to London/Heathrow in early July. The seat plan seems to suggest I will be flying an A340-300. Would anyone be able to clarify this for me please? Does the A343 always operate this route?

Many thanks :)

The aircraft type on the MIA route alters on a fairly regular basis.

It is possible that the A340-300 planned for your flights may change nearer the time.

The MIA route tends to alternate between an A343 and A346 depending on the day of the week.

Usually Mon-Weds is and A343, and Thurs-Sun is A346.

Can anyone clarify what seat pitch Virgin have in economy? I have seen various websites stating its either 30", 31" or 32" It doesn't seem to say on the VS website either.

Thanks

The Virgin Holidays Florida brochure quotes 32" seat pitching in economy.

It varies between 31-32 depending on which seats in the cabin you get. The seats in the middle section on the A346 have more leg room than the seats on the window side.
