With those numbers (high single, low twin/multi) it is not likely you will land a job with an airline, own type rating or not.

What are your intentions? GA type work or airline job? There's not much GA work in SE Asia, but there are many airline jobs for suitably qualified folks (read minimum 3000 on multi engine, ICAO ATPL, preferably airline experience).

A work around is to be a instructor for Singapore Flying College (www.sfcpl.com). Finish the bond (3 years? - check with them) and you are quite likely to be accepted into second officer training with Singapore Airlines.

Many have tried this path, as we speak some are in the middle of it. Their success has been varied. One ex-instructor (who was there in the mid-90s) is now a management pilot with one of the SIA subsidiaries. On the other hand, several have left SIA (cultural / personal reasons) as FOs.

The pay is quite low, but enough to survive on if you are a bachelor with modest requirements. The bond period is not a long time anyway, relative to the traditional GA - commuter - regional - airline path, where even if you had all the right contacts and achievements it would still take longer to get into the right seat.

If you have right of abode in US then Colgan and Skywest among many others have been recruiting agressively. You more than meet their requirements to go fly a Brasilia, 1900 or RJ...
