WBGG Taxi way lighting.

Was at Kuching the other night. New guy to the area complaining to tower about Taxi way light's. Any comment's appreciated,

Just basic lights to mark the edges and that's it. Used to it. I did comment to the guy sitting next to me though on my last night visit through KCH that I thought it not a good idea that you could follow the taxiway and enter the runway at "A" without any runway hold or runway stop bar lights at all. This is with or without a line up clearance. Area is totally blank. No notams or tower info on it either. Surely that will change with the airport upgrade works. Hopefully.

Hopefully the new works will include improvements. Ive been in an out of there myself for over 2 years now and got used to it too but the stop bars need work now. guess the stop bars where what this guy was complaining about.
