Having spent the last 6 years working in GA, my patience is wearing thin. No JAR license means the possibilities are fairly limited with a Danish CPL.

I have 1600+ hours, nearly 600 turboprop, mostly PIC. 700 hrs instructing. Extensive experience around Europe and Middle East..
But it seems almost impossible to land that airline job.

I am not very keen on spending money on a TR, but what are the alternatives ? Wait another X years ? Will anyone hire without a JAR license ?

If you have been flying 600h in a 2-crew turbo environment, have 1600+ h TT and a Danish CPL, why don't you have an ATPL already?

Get on with it! That's the paper that puts you towards the top of the pile. That said you might still end up paying/bonding for that first big type.

Good luck!

Only 500 hrs on MPA will count towards exchanging your CPL for a JAR do.

What were they thinking ?

Hi CMN.

Try AirBaltic, they do accept pilots without a JAR license..
And they are recruiting at the moment, as far as I know.

Good luck.

Hi,

Get the JAR lisense! If you want to work with the European company. No company in Europe will look you seriously if you dont have it. People say its hard work to get it-not really, even I passed...
