A great propliner of the 50's known as the 377 STRAT & with USAF & ANG units of the day known as the KC/C-97 cargo & airtanker. Only 2 survive in the WORLD today that are still Airworthy & N522718 now a C-97G is owned & operated by the BAHF of Toms River NJ,which is a private & nonprofit all membership corporation, dedicated to preserving 2 classic 4 engine proptransports,as "Flying Museums" exibits. The C-54 Skymaster is of history & education exibit of the Berlin Airlift of 1948/49 yrs. Now soon to come will be the late great Boeing of the 50's,the mighty 377/KC/C-97 STRAT. SHE will become a "Flying Museum" of COLD WAR History & memorabilia when complete. HER new paint scheme looks great & now for the interior to come together. Parts have been aquired to support this huge project so Full speed ahead & lets get ready to turn over those 28cyl P&W 4360 engines!! "Keep The Big Pistons Turning!"

WOW, I hope they fetch these two aircraft over to this side of the pond,
The C-54 has already been across, so hopefully the C-97 will make it over at some point.
