Flying Game like the PILAPT one

Hey, does anyone know of any game on the internet similar to the test in PILAPT where you fly through the squares. Surely all the first PC flight sims looked like this! Im trying to get someone to understand what you have to do.

Do the F18 game. If memory serves (which it usually does) Mission/Level 1 is what you require.
