Which airlines have Row 13?

Some airlines have Row 13. Others do not have Row 13 and, on occasion, Row 12 is followed by Row 14.

Can someone comment on which airlines do have Row 13?
And why they?

For example, BA seems to have Row 13 - consistently through their current subsonic fleet. AF consistently lacks Row 13 through their current subsonic fleet.

I think that BA and AF Concordes had the same seating - 25 rows, 100 seats on both. And at least some Concordes lacked Row 13 - having rows 1-12 and 14-26. Probably at least the AF.

Did the BA Concordes have Row 13? So that BA Concordes lacked Row 26, but AF Concordes had it? Or did BA Concordes have the same seatmap as the AF ones, so that BA subsonic planes all had Row 13, but the Concorde did not have it? Or how was the matter arranged?

Cant see why Alitalia dont have row 13 seeing as its bad luck to be sitting anywhere on one of their planes at all

Qantas DO have a row 13

I used to work in a hotel and we would get people who would call up to make a reservation for a room and would specifically ask not to be allocated on the 13th floor or any room ending in 13 or starting with 13.

regarding 17 I found:

BA definately have it on their 777's, i cant remember about the other aircraft in the fleet but Im sure they have them too!

If any aircraft has more than 13 rows of seats then there MUST be a row 13.

It might not be identified or marked as such but it most certainly will be the 13th row.

Alaska has a row 13 on its aircraft. In fact, 13A and 13F are the best seats in coach on the 737-700 fleet. No 12A or 12F. :) Transcon in 13A was sweet!

American 777s in/out of LHR have row13 - and, 'cos I admit to being superstitious (rabbit foot on keyring, lucky charm round neck etc etc) my missus will be in DEEP doodoo if she ever allocates me a seat in that Row:p

So, these people who are superstitious about row 13, what's the problem exactly? Do they think the aeroplane will crash if they sit in row 13? But then what about everyone who didn't sit in row 13, do they somehow have a flight that doesn't crash?

Superstition is there for stupid people to make them feel like they can affect the outcome of random events.

I believe EI has row 13 on it's A330's. I'm fairly sure they have it on the A320/A321's too.

Delta does indeed have a row 13, and as a superstitious sort (as most athletes are), I avoid it if I have to. Now, if row 13 was a First Class row with 22" width and 60" pitch, I just might sit there regularly.

Once flew wth BA on Friday 13th!

Decided it woudl be fun to fly at 13:00 (BA Super Shuttle) and when I got to the airport (LHR) asked for row 13...

So seat 13A at 13:00 on Friday the 13th..... was back around 96/97....

I do have the boarding card somewhere as it was definitely worth keeping... unfortunately can't find it at the minute or I would scan it and show you the details....

Southwest Airlines B737-700: They not only had a Row 13 (I looked for it specifically after reading this thread) but it was also parked at Gate C13 in Terminal 4 at PHX.

Bmi don't have B or J seats on the big busses for commonality because there are only 2 seats on the outside so they omit the B and J so it keeps the C and H seats as asile seats as most pax/FF's recognise these to be asile seats.

Most airlines that have only 2 seats usually omit the B,E and J seats depending on if it's a wide or narrow body, so a narrow body would be 1ACDF and a wide body would be 1AC DEFG HK.

Anyway back to the topic,

Once many years ago when I worked on check-in, 2 passengers came to my desk. They were called Mr and Mrs Jinks, so me being a little younger and a little more immature thought it would be amusing to sit them in row 13 (Britannia had a row 13 then, not sure if they still do). Often wondered if they ever noticed that :E
