.. a letter written to NAS managment by an ex-NAS highly professional pilot with international ties who has taken serious actions to prevent a disaster!

Dear gentlemen,

I just forwarded all safety reports of numerous ex-pat pilots and flight attendants that work and have worked for you to XXXXXX XXXX,who is in direct contact with the JAA and FAA, all foreign embassies and state departments regarding blacklisting National Air Services due to severe safety issues.
Your unqualified, incompetent, arrogant director of operations by the name of Captain SxxTxN let dangerous, arrogant, incompetent Saudi pilots operate modern western aircraft while practicing religious prayer sessions during flight time.Your lack of safety standards is a direct attack on the well-being of people in the air and on the ground.
Your Director of Operations, Captain SxxTxN, is fully responsible for putting the lives of innocent passengers and people on the ground at risk by letting these Saudi Nationals potentially kill them.
An accident is just to happen.
I consider Captain SxxTxN a murderer and he should be beheaded at your famous chop-chop square.

Sincerely and in name of all ex-pat pilots,

Captain XXXXXX
Chairman of the IXXX XXX XXX

One of the most juvenile missives I have ever had the misfortune to read. No wonder we are trated like cab drivers. Pathetic.

Just pause a moment and imagine if you could ever imagine a Doctor, lawyer or banker writing such trash.

What a week to give up coke

SxxTxn should apply to Gulf Air or Qatar airways. He would get along and fit the bill very well.........

Perhaps abdullah was rash in doing what he did. A formal tactful approach to NAS might have been better. However having worked in the ME for a couple of years, I understand abdullah`s actions. I found being polite, tactful or with professional ethics does not get anything done. People in authority appear to flaunt the law without any regard. Others who have connections ( wasta ) flaunt the law continuously. This madness in the ME is just a long windy endless road.

It might not have been the right approach, but you have to get the bull by it`s horns!
