I am attending a fancy dress party over the Festive season in full pilotwear. The only thing I am missing is a captain's hat - anyone know where I could get hold of one? Doesn't need to be the real thing, but tried the usual websites but nothing.

It's exactly like any other hat, except it's 17 sizes bigger!!!
(No offence to my flying chums, honest!)

I believe that there's a gruff old Scotsman who lives near Methlick who keeps one on a scarecrow in his field. You could always nip up there and nick it!

if you want to keep it authentic then dont wear one. the majority of pilots dont like wearing them.
Ebay have some, all old style though?
