41 Sqn - new lease of life?

Rumour doing the rounds at a Lincs flugplatz that 41 will reform from the FJWOEU. Has anybody else heard this one?

If it's true, it'll be nice to see another old number plate kept going.

Now what about 74 and 92 then........

I heard a similar rumour, but that it will only happen once 17(R) disbands again sometime 06/07 and is encompassed by the FJWOEU.

The rumour is 100% true, The FJWOEU is due to stand up as 41 Sqn on the 1st April 2006.

Is 17 Sqn not senior to 41 Sqn? If so, will this see the FJ0EU become 41 and then 17 when they transfer into the OEU?
