My dilemma is; I have 2 Branch choices for the RAF and on of them is Flt Ops but i don't know which to put down as my first preference.

I just wondered if there are any past or present Flt Ops O's who know what the career options are like after the RAF?

Is this a marketable skill, are you wanted?

Sorry Sam 34.....but Being A Pilot And A Flight Dispatcher Are Two Different Jobs And The Last One Required Expertise And Experience In Dispatching To Stand A Chance Of Getting Hired By A British Company.ce Sera Pareil En Amerique Du Nord.pour La France Oui...mais Bcp Plus Difficile Depuis Que Des Formations Specifiques Air Ops Existent (esma,enac...) Et Le Marche Etant Les Postes Se Font Rares.essaye Plutot Du Cote D'agent De Trafic/ground Coordinator/turnaround Coordinator Ou La Les Exigences Sont Moindres Et Tout Pilote Forme Que Tu Es, Tu Continueras Quand Meme A Apprendre Qq Chose.
Bonne Continuation.
