Just to say 'thanks' for the impromptu flying display this morning at about 10:00. The only complaint in fact, maybe a mile further East next time, I kept losing sight of you behind our trees.

Why? - The phrase "impromptu flying display" is like a red rag to the senior officer fun police. The fact that it was a Canberra makes it all the easier to identify the 'guilty b@&Łard'.
Such praise is nice, but invites the wrong kind of questions.

If this is case let me please appologise to the gentlemen in question. The VERY last thing I would wish to do is provoke a 'Hats Off' scenerio.
The aircraft at all times seemed to be operating well within its performance envelope, and with due regard to HASELL :ok:
