Blue1 is currently recruiting CC. They state that their laguage is English, but my question is if it is necessary to speak Finnish or Swedish. I do speak English and few other languages but no Scandinavian?? Any advice?

Does not seem to be a requirement. I know of a swiss guy who was hired even though he did not speak a word of finnish/scandinavian language.

I highly doubt that. Blue1 operates from Finland, and the majority of passengers are Finnish or Swedish spoken. Cabin crew must be able to communicate with the passengers in their language.

It is requirement :ugh:

I've been in touch with BLUE1's HR Dep. (Mrs Kia S.) and she has informed me of that BLUE1's mandatory requirement (language) is full fluency in Finnish, both spoken aswell as written + Swedish + English. Just like their recruitmentsite states.

I hope this clears the confusion :o)

Merry Christmas!

Hey LOT, how about setting your sights a little bit higher? Surely you can do better than B1.

And what's wrong with BLUE1?

Nothing. I fly with Blue1 regularly. Just as good as any other airline that flies from Helsinki.

I just been to Helsinki and liked the city...that's all. Simply thought why not flying there :O

Merry Christmas to Tom and All!!!!
