I am flying with a Class I medical since 1987 after 4x bypasses and sinds 1999 after an extra "stent" was placed in one of the disfuncioning bypass.

I have a JAA Medical, with a restriction (OML)= Muti Pilot, which is no problem as we never fly alone in the comercial aviation. Commander B744 in Europe, I am about to retire from my company and I am looking for another 4 years of flying.

I have tried various operators in the Far East and every time have been dismissed because of my medical history. SIA, KAL and CAA, all dismissed me, despite my 9000 hours of B744 as Commander and almost 20.000 hours grand total.

I am thinking that these operator (Countries) are far behind as far as the medical norms are concerned. Why can't we have an international standard for medicals, like it is already in Europe and USA (JAA,FAA)?

I am looking for B744 operators in Europe or the USA, accepting a valid JAA class I but also such a heart history...Anybody has an idea?
