Us in the Birds nest (ex Lion's den) are as happy as Larry. Good roster (and able to volunteer for lots of days off in lieu until our pilot numbers are up to speed) reasonable pay deal for the next 5 years, defined benefit pension scheme. Just hope Management can keep the contracts.

Whereas, next door, at the home of the
big 'B'; all is not well!
BALPA and BHL go to 'standing conference' on Friday to try to settle the pay round.
Apparently, the pay proposal was given to management in late June; the first meeting didn't take place until late August!
And the first/only company offer wasn't made until mid September; soundly rejected in the ballot announced in mid October.
Next meeting, at company's convenience, in mid November; big fallout!
So the company is not exactly in a hurry to settle!
Recent 'indicative ballot' showed 95% in favour of industrial action.
Watch this space!!
