Belkin wireless router and Apple iBook - compatible?

Anyone know if a Belkin G Plus Router is able to communicate with an Apple iBook or Powerbook? Or is an AirPort compulsory?

Yes they will work with Belkin gear (or any other) - an Airport Base Station isn't compulsory.
