Landed this morning at JNB from Rand Airport and saw this B747-400 in United Airlines Livery on the Delta Apron.

The aircraft is french registerred, American flag etc. attached.

Any ideas on who's operating this aircraft??

Maybe its an addition to some-one's fleet?

Rumour has it that it belongs to Corsair, hence the French reg. It has stood at SAA tech. for a few weeks sans engines. Has nothing to do with the C. airline........

The B744 flew in from TFFR (Gaudeloupe). J - do you remember the reg. I remember F.-LOV. Thanks.

The one that came from TFFR on Sunday 25 Sep was F-WKIS, was tipped to become F-HKIS for Corsair.

Just an update, there are now two UA B744s on the airfield, both seem to be on the M apron. Two "air Coridors" as well, look like B732s it looked like.Thought i was seeing double, which considering where i was would have been a very bad thing indeed.
