Hour building again, what would you do

Hi all

About to embark on some serious hour building to meet CPL pre entry requirements. Other than Reqular nav exercises and visiting other aerodromes/airports, if you were to do it all over again is there anything you would have done differently. Maybe to put you in a better position come Job seeking time?

I have R22 and H269 endorsements. Expecting to hour build through CPL and onto FI course.
